Position Title:  Ownership Program Administrator

Status:  Full-time to Perm Position

Compensation:  $23-$25/hour DOE

Overview:

GVRHA is a multi-jurisdictional housing authority (Town of Mt CB, Town of CB, City of Gunnison, and Gunnison County) that was created to ensure affordable housing throughout the Gunnison Valley is preserved, sustainable, and created with community in mind. We work as property management for over 70 rentals across the valley, manage all deed restricted properties as well as the compliance behind them, we manage the GVHEAT program which provides energy efficiency updates to qualifying homes around the valley, as well as manage a rehab loan portfolio, and lastly offer special limited partnerships for private developers who are interested in creating affordable housing options. We stand as a resource for those who want to learn more about what affordable housing means and offer a place where ideas surrounding affordable housing can be cultivated into tangible projects.

Job Description:

The Ownership Program Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support for our Ownership Program and will be responsible for working within the workflows of the Deed Restriction Database, Microsoft Office, public records, and interpreting a high volume of legal documents. The program administrator will be responsible for scheduling, community outreach, and responding to inquiries.

Immediate Responsibilities

  • Abstracting and uploading deed restrictions into the QuickBase software. This includes reading, notating, and uploading deed restrictions located in the Town of Crested Butte, Town of Mt Crested Butte, City of Gunnison, and Gunnison County
  • Compiling and updating documents, resources, listings, and other Ownership program information to be updated in files and on website
  • Maintaining, updating and delivering clear, consistent and scalable internal and external process and procedures for all elements of Ownership
  • Process Ownership applications that have been uploaded into QuickBase
  • Field and monitor emails and phone calls for all Ownership Program inquiries
  • Provide general administrative support for all other Ownership Program functions

Ongoing Responsibilities:

Once converted to permanent

  • Conducting initial outreach and organization of compliance efforts for all deed restricted properties in Gunnison County.
  • Processing deed restriction compliance efforts through established workflow through to resolution.
  • Tracking deed restriction compliance efforts through completion to ensure complete process and to aide in reporting.
  • Assessing and compiling violations for each non-compliant deed restricted property to turn over to jurisdictions for enforcement. Tracking same and following up.
  • Process applications for both Ownership and Ownership Rentals
  • Work within QuickBase workflows for all deed restricted properties
  • Field and respond to phone calls and emails and inquiries for the Ownership Program and escalating as necessary
  • Assist program manager with the housing lotteries as needed
  • Ensure materials for education and community outreach for current and future programming are organized and distributed to the appropriate places
  • Additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • 2 years professional office experience required
  • Microsoft Office Skills required; Excel competency required
  • High attention to detail critical; ability to follow process and track work flows
  • High level reading comprehension required; legal documents preferred
  • Electronic file system experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills required; public service experience a plus
  • Database management skills a plus
  • Experience working within a team environment
