As part of the collaboration between the Gunnison High School Pathways Program and the GV-HEAT program, we enabled students who are far advanced in the Construction Trades program to participate in classroom instruction and internship opportunities in the field of building science and energy upgrades in income-qualified homes. This has created a more robust and real world learning experience for the students and will help build a much needed skillset in the weatherization trades in the Gunnison Valley.
