We are proud to partner with Energy Outreach Colorado (EOC) to increase awareness and enrollment in energy assistance programs for Colorado’s income-qualified populations.  We are excited to have been awarded $57,918 in funding to help bridge the gap between available assistance and the Gunnison Valley residents who need it most. Mainly we assist our residents with the Colorado’s Affordable Residential Energy (CARE) program to help with energy upgrades in homes, such as installing LED lightbulbs, performing air-sealing, adding insulation, and providing programmable thermostats. We will also be working throughout 2025 to increase enrollment in programs including the State of Colorado’s Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP), the Colorado Energy Office’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), and Energy Outreach Colorado’s utility bill payment assistance and energy efficiency programs.
